Internet Access
MZ provides Ethernet in offices and residence halls, wireless access from certain locations on campus. You may also choose to use a different (commercial) Internet Service Provider and connect to MZ resources via that ISP. The instructions provided below will assist you in making any of these connections.
Connecting from On Campus
MZ Ethernet network
If you work on the MZ Campus, or if you live in an on-campus residence see this page for information on your Ethernet connection. MZ intranet services are provided by Alphanet Server.
Residents can avail of 24 internet services within their residence halls. The Computer Labs will be open from 9:30am - 6pm. Off-campus students can avail of this service. Availability of the service during college hours is restricted depending on the schedule of the lab.
MZ wireless network
Wireless service for laptops is available from certain locations on campus.
By modem from unwired offices
If you are on campus but do not have Ethernet access, you can dial in with a GPRS modem or CDMA modem. The instructions provided for off-campus modem configuration are also applicable in this situation, although the phone number will be different. Users in this situation should use #*99(AirTel) or #777(Reliance) as the dial-up number. This service is accessible only within AirTel Coverage Areas and Reliance Coverage Areas.
Campus labs
Residents and off-campus students can avail of the campus labs from 9:30am - 6pm. However, during college hours students are requested to check the lab schedule before using the lab.
