Email

Electronic mail (e-mail) is a free service provided to the entire Mount Zion community.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up your e-mail account:

  1. If you haven't already done so, get an MMS account.
  2. Understand why you should probably use IMAP instead of POP.
  3. Choose e-mail software.
  4. Configure your e-mail software:
    • the basics (not software-specific)
    • detailed instructions (software-specific)

Using Webmail

Mount Zion offers web-based access to your MMS e-mail. You must have a previously established MMS account to use MZ Webmail — a Alphanet login name and password alone are not sufficient.

  • Need to manage or import addresses?

  • Need to access your e-mail while away from your computer?

E-mail Tools

Use the following tools to manage your e-mail account:

  • Forwarding allows you to forward your MZ e-mail to another account or turn off forwarding (requires login).
  • Vacation Message allows you to set an automatic message when you will not be accessing e-mail for a while (requires login).
