Lateral Entry/Transfer Admissions

A student may apply to Mount Zion College as a candidate for lateral entry/transfer admission if he or she is a degree candidate at another college or university. You are not considered a lateral entry/transfer student if you are taking college classes with non-degree status. All of the undergraduate degrees of Mount Zion College accept applications for lateral entry/transfer admission, with the exception of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Leather Technology.

However, certain programs do not permit lateral entry/transfer applications, and you should check the Special Requirements Chart to make certain you are eligible for the program in which you are interested. Applicants for August entrance must have completed coursework and be available to register and attend classes on the date the semester begins.
